Lindsey Marsh Drainage Board 

Lindsey Marsh drainage board covers a total area of 52,500 hectares, forming part of a wider catchment of 110,720 hectares that drains to and includes the district.  Within this area, 40,871 hectares comprise agricultural land, while a further 11,629 hectares consist of non‑agricultural land.  The district’s water management infrastructure includes 115 water level control structures, 942.2 kilometres of maintained watercourses, and 30 pumping stations, all of which support the effective regulation of water levels and the protection of the surrounding landscape.
