Trent Valley Internal Drainage Board
Trent Valley Internal Drainage District covers a total area of 44,260 hectares and forms part of a wider catchment of 127,550 hectares that drains to and includes the district. Within this area, 38,115 hectares comprise agricultural land, while a further 6,145 hectares consist of non‑agricultural land. The district’s water management infrastructure includes 200 water level control structures, 719.9 kilometres of maintained watercourses, and 18 pumping stations, all of which support the effective regulation of water levels and the protection of the surrounding landscape.
